Description
While it does not claim to be absolutely encyclopaedic or comprehensive, this volume provides a grounding for those wishing to study Derrida’s copious writings, arguments, terminology, influences, readings and ideas. The book aims to establish the clarity of Derrida’s thinking, and to account for the complexity of his writings in both intellectual and stylistic terms. It includes many cross-referenced entries which seek to elucidate Derrida’s thought (his manner of thinking as much as the conceptual resources he leaves behind); and in particular, it tries to give detailed and substantial accounts of the majority of his publications over a period of six decades. Derrida wrote prolifically and his output was vast. To my knowledge, there is currently no other resource in English that attempts such extensive coverage. حق تکثیر: آزاد
