Description
Aging is shown to be an agedependent fractal increase of the number of deviations from homeo stasis at the cellular, subcellular, cellular–tissue, and systemic levels. Facts are considered showing that novel forms of aging and mechanisms counteracting them, antiaging systems, have appeared simultaneously with development of the evolutionary form. The evolutionary stages of development of various forms of aging (molecular, segregational, conditional, clonal, postmitotic, and systemic) are established.
