I really wanted a book that would take me from beginner material all the way up to advanced material. I feel this book does not do that. It is meant someone who already has a fair level of understanding of rotating electrical machines. When they say it's a good resource for a senior electrical engineering student, post grad, or even professional...THEY MEAN IT. I have an BS in mechanical engineering and this book does not come across as straight forward in any way. Being that I paid (too much) for it, I'm hoping I will be able to fish out some useful (and understandable!) info.
