This application demonstrates how to set-up, solve and post-process a Process Integration and Design Optimization (PIDO) problem with Optimus. The aim of the example is to provide an end-to-end tutorial that demonstrates the use of Optimus.
Optimus Mission
Optimus is a flexible and responsive design environment that can be used by every CAE engineer. It can used to evaluate many more design alternatives than was possible until now, to improve product characteristics and quickly prototype complex products based on Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations.

Optimus provides the ability to first capture and automate simulation based workflows and to generate, analyze, explore and track Design Alternatives. With Optimus an engineer can automate the running of design simulation tools, from Geometry definition to specialized product simulation programs. Providing the workflow automation a user with the use of intelligent design drivers can then generate new product designs and gain insight in the design parameters that drive the several design attributes.
