Further WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus releases are not planned. The final WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus release is version 7.5.
End of Support has been announced as April 30, 2018 for WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus version 6.2, version 7.0 and version 7.5. See Software withdrawal and discontinuance of service: Select IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus products - Replacements available for details.
There is no immediate need to move off WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus Version 7.5 in 2014. However, planning for that move should begin and you should contact your local IBM Account Team about this process. Briefings on this Enterprise Service Bus strategy, IBM Integration Bus, cost neutral entitlement transfer from WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus to IBM Integration Bus and the WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus to IBM Integration Bus artifact conversion are available.
